Several Milpitas students were honored at the 19th annual Spring Recognition Ceremony of the Santa Clara County Alliance of Black Educators on April 27. Kianna Ezel, Good Xavier, Darrien Hamberry, Tanika Hampton and Shanika Hampton, all from Thomas Russell Middle School, were recognized for taking significant steps to become aware of history and heritage.
