- Golf remains on Alex’s sports schedule
Golf will still be offered to Alex High School students this year. There was a lot of talk last spring about disbanding the program due to budget cuts, but the issue never made it past the point of it being put on the list of recommended cuts. Coach Erik Yeiser said changes in the Alex administration got the program a mulligan before it could officially be considered for cancellation.
